I love this surgery - it's the best I've ever had. The doctors will always fit us in if it's urgent & especially if my baby son needs help. The doctors are thorough in assessing our health problems and explain their diagnoses clearly, they take their time to give good care even when pushed for time. They never make us feel stupid for coming - they are very kind and lovely people. Reception staff are also very kind, polite and helpful. The nurse was very gentle and sweet when giving our baby jabs. I also like the surgery building - modern clean and functional.

I needed to see a particular doctor because I feel I have been fobbed off by some of the other doctors I've seen. I kept ring this morning but phone was engaged finally got the 'In the queue' message and was told I was would be waiting 7 minutes I actually was kept waiting 11 minutes. When I finally got through the receptionist said there was an appointment with him tomorrow at 9am. We are really short staffed at work and it is hard to get time off-and as my days off are Mondays it would have been too short notice. I didn't realise he now only works Tuesdays and this made me quite anxious, she offered me various other Tuesdays but these are no use. I asked for another doctor but his appointment was not until 21st December. I initially said yes but the changed my mind and the receptionist told me in a manner of speaking to hurry up because there were others waiting. I decided on the 15th December she told me the time and I didn't quite hear but she slammed the phone down on me. I had also needed to ask another question. This has left me feeling very upset.

I saw Dr Burgess on this occasion and she did everything I asked of her, most impressed. Most of the doctors I have seen at this practice have done what I would have hoped for me.

Both myself and my husband have been patients of Parkside Group Practice for many years since the surgery was actually located in St Augustine's Avenue, Sth Croydon and subsequent move to Wyche Grove, Sth Croydon. We could not ask for a more efficient and truly helpful surgery ever. The surgery is very professionally run, headed by Dr Martin Johnson. We feel very fortunate indeed to be able to use this surgery and have sang its praises on many occasions.
